Weldon Hayes, 61, of Fort Stockton, passed on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. In Fort Stockton, Texas

Visitation will be at 1 PM Saturday August 8, at First Baptist of Monahans.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM August 8 at First Baptist of Monahans with Dr. Chris Powell of First Baptist of Monahans, officiating.

Weldon was born in Rotan, Texas to Louie Hayes and Esther Hayes-Fields on August 22, 1964. He went to school at Rotan High School. He graduated from West Texas State University. He worked as a Senior Vice President banker for The Pecos County State Bank for a year. He was involved in Lions Club and a Deacon at First Baptist of Monahans.

Weldon Hayes is preceded in death by his parents Louie Hayes and Esther Hayes Fields.

Weldon is survived by his children Cheyenne, Gregory, and Alex Hayes; brothers Willie and Tana Hayes, Ward and Jenna Hayes; and the light of his life grandbaby Carter Hayes.
