Virginia Carrillo Vasquez, 75, of Kermit, Texas took her eternal rest on Sunday, February 23, 2025, surrounded by her family at her home in Kermit.

Visitation and viewing for family and friends will take place from 9am to 11pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Jesus King of Kings Church in Kermit, Texas.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Jesus King of Kings Church with Pastor Blanca Polanco officiating. A burial will follow at Winkler County Cemetery in Kermit. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Virginia, lovingly known as Vicky, was born in Gomez Palacios Durango to Rosa Carrillo and Guadalupe Lujan on October 7, 1949. She married Chito Vasquez on August 6, 1966, in Ojinaga. Vicky was a dedicated homemaker who took pride in her garden, her home and taking care of her husband. Becoming a grandma was her biggest joy and best journey in life. She was the love of Chito, his only girlfriend with much honor. Together they enjoyed their retirement traveling with family.

Vicky is preceded in death by her daughter Sheila Vasquez, her son Guadalupe Vasquez, her mother Rosa Carrillo Lujan and her sister Nicolasa Carrillo.

Vicky leaves her loving memory to cherish to her loyal husband of 58 years, Chito Vasquez, her daughters Carmen (Noel) Porras, Maria ((Benny) Porras, Blanca (Hector) Polanco, Betty (Jorge) Morales son Rene Vasquez, sister Maria Carrillo, father Guadalupe Lujan, her grandchildren; Ruben Lujan, Krista Lujan, Natalie Collins, Lucero Porras, Noey Porras, Mariaelena Saenz, Viviana Moore, Ashley Martinez, Brittany Porras, Daniel Polanco, Amanda Herrera, Arcie Easley, Jorge Morales, Mateo Morales, Ezekiel Morales, Arianna Morales Iliana Morales and 29 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers with the honor to carry Mami Vicky will be Rene Vasquez, Ruben Lujan, Daniel Polanco, Noey Porras, Ninel La Rosa and Mundy Vasquez.

The family would like to thank everyone for their continued support during the last months and now to those that texted, called, took food, flowers and any kind of deed of love during this difficult time. May God bless you all.
