Timothy II Sapien, age 68, of Kermit, TX passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, September 3, 2022.

Timothy ll Sapien was born in Pecos, TX to Consuelo Montanez and Timothy Sapien on January 3, 1954. He went to school in San Antonio, TX and Monahans, TX. Timothy "Timo" was raised in San Antonio, TX and Pyote children's home until the age of 18 where he then enrolled in the US Army and served 3 proud years. He worked as a driller for the Oil & Gas industry for 40+ years. Timo was a devoted Welo-Welo and would run to babysit his grandkids any chance he got. If they said jump, he'd jump. Timo was also a dedicated fisherman and always asked "You ready t'go fishing?" He also attended Jesus King of Kings Ministries.

Timo is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Dolores Alvarado, Magdalena Contreras, his father-in-law Moises Leyva, and grandchild Clayton Akins.

Timo is survived by his wife Aide Sapien of Kermit TX, Son Timothy lll (Kendra) Sapien of Kermit TX, Daughters: Melissa Sapien (partner Troy Benson) of Midland TX, Denise (Isaac) Sullivan of Kermit TX, and Lupita Sapien of Phoenix Arizona. Brothers: Raymond Sapien of Midland TX, and Joe Sapien of Kermit TX. Sisters: Carolina Mendoza of Midland TX, Eloisa Palacios of Midland TX, Gloria Chavarria of Midland TX, Dora Escajeda of Midland TX, Rita Mendoza of Midland TX, and Ofelia Enriquez of Midland TX. Grandchildren: Julian Sapien, Aubry Akins, Evelyn Sullivan, Clayton Sullivan, Scarlett Sapien, MaxZane Sullivan, Xavier Sullivan & Autumn Benson, many nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers: Jr Leyva, Ray Telles, Matthew Leyva, Monika Leyva, Julian Sapien, and Aubry Akins. Honorary Pallbearers: Juan Leyva, Timothy lll Sapien, Isaac Sullivan, Troy Benson, and Kendra Sapien.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Jesus King of Kings located at 372 E State Highway 302, Kermit, TX 79745. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Jesus King of Kings located at 372 E State Highway 302, Kermit, TX, US 79745, with Pastora Blanca Polanco officiating. Burial will follow at Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
