In Loving Memory of Socorro Franco

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Socorro Franco, age 86, who entered eternal rest on June 7, 2025, surrounded by peace and in the grace of God.

Visitation will be 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church in Presidio, Texas with Rosary recited at 7:00 PM.

Funeral Service will be held 9:00 AM, Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Santa Tersea de Jesus Catholic Church with Father Fabian Marquez officiating. Burial will follow at Desert Hills Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Born on June 3, 1939, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua. Mexico. She lived a life of unwavering faith, quiet strength, and gentle kindness. A devout Catholic her entire life, she dedicated herself fully to her Church, finding purpose in daily Mass, prayer, and service to others. She was a member of Santa Teresa Catholic Church, where she was known for her steadfast presence, her devotion to the Religious Formation, Eucharistic Ministry, and for her generous heart.

Though she never married or had children of her own, Socorrito was loved by all. She touched many lives with her warmth, wisdom, and humility. Her home was always open to those in need of comfort or counsel, and her prayers were a constant source of strength to many.

She will be remembered for her deep compassion, her joyful spirit, and her enduring love for Christ. In all things, Socorrito sought to live a life that reflected her faith, offering quiet service and steadfast hope to all who knew her.

Socorrito is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Margarita.
