Obituary

Senaida Gonzales Casas, 81, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.

Born September 30, 1944, Senaida lived a life centered on faith, family, and devotion. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and matriarch whose strength and kindness touched generations.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Desmo Roble Casas Sr.; her parents, Gregoria Nunez Gomez and Sabino Gomez; and her son, Desmo Casas Jr.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Jessie Ray Duarte (Rosella Duarte) of Odessa, Texas; Victoria Casas Blumthal (Eric Blumthal) of Sarasota, Florida; Rose Marie Casas Saenz (Mario Saenz) of San Antonio, Texas; Steven Casas (Cibeles Casas) of Conroe, Texas; and Mario Casas (Mayte Casas) of Del Rio, Texas.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Jacqueline Mary Duarte, Jesse

Ray Duarte Jr., Lacy Barth, Lindsey Duran, Ryan Blumthal, Austin Blumthal, Chelsea Ramey, Steven Casas Jr., Desmon Casas, Hayley Casas, Dylan Casas, Robbie Casas, Yamna Raful and Cibeles Raful; 9 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Ray Duarte Jr., Steven Casas Jr., Desmon Casas, Dylan Casas, Ryan Blumthal, and Austin Blumthal. Honorary pallbearer will be Aaron Casas.

We are honoring our beloved mother by wearing her favorite color of yellow to Rosary.
