Rosa Baeza Acosta, 78, of Presidio, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, surrounded by her family in Presidio.

Rosa was born in San Antonio del Bravo, Ojinaga Chihuahua on December 7, 1944 to Margarito Acosta and Guadalupe Rivas. She married Elijio Baeza in San Antonio del Bravo . She was a dedicated wife and mom who loved listening to music while she worked in her garden. The joy of her life was her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Margarito, and Guadalupe Acosta. Her siblings Jose Luis Acosta, Guadalupe Acosta, Jesús Acosta, Margarito Acosta, Alberto Acosta and Manuela Acosta.

She is survived by her husband Elijio Baeza, son Joel (Isis) Baeza, daughter Jesus Maria (Miguel) Gonzalez, four grandchildren, and siblings Gloria Acosta, Martina Acosta, Pilar Acosta, Laudencio Acosta, many nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at Santa Teresa de Jesus in Presidio.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Santa Teresa de Jesus in Presidio, with Father Mike Alcuino officiating. Burial will follow at Desert Hills. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home of Fort Stockton, Texas,
