It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rolando Rodriguez, aged 86, who departed from us on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Rolando was born on October 12th, 1939, in San Vicente, Texas, to Jose Maria Rodriguez and Felix Morin.

Rolando was a hard-working father and husband, who lived a life defined by resilience and strength. He held a deep love for the outdoors and nature, with his loved ones often finding him outside, whether it be gardening, caring for animals, or simply enjoying the scenery. Rolando's stories, jokes, and caring nature will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

Rolando is survived by his sibling Marcelo Mejia, his children, Jaime Brito, Eva Rodriguez Brito, Maria Martin, James Rodriguez, Rolando Rodriguez, Annabelle Rodriguez, Marcos Rodriguez, his grandchildren Brittney Martin, Fabían Hernandez-Rodriguez, Karina Hernandez-Rodriguez, Yazmín Hernández-Rodriguez, Rolando L. Rodriguez, Elektra Rodriguez, Amity Rodriguez-Munoz, Eden Rodriguez-Munoz, Izack Rodríguez, and Karlie Rodriguez

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 20, with viewing from 10 AM – 2 PM, at Eternity Funeral Home, with burial to follow at East Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
