Roberto Nunez Armendariz, 72 years of Jal, New Mexico departed from this life to eternal life on Saturday, September 28th, 2024, in Odessa, Texas.
A visitation and viewing will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 4pm to 9pm at Crossroads Church Chapel in Odessa, Texas.
A second visitation and viewing will be held on Monday, September 30th, 2024, from 2pm to 8pm with the Rosary recited at 5pm at the Church Hall of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Jal, NM.
Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, at 2pm at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Jal, NM with Fr. Umetietie Ambrose officiating. A burial will follow at Jal Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
Roberto, lovingly known as "El Guerito" was born on December 14, 1951, to Ines Nunez and Roberto Armendariz in Ojinaga, Chihuahua. He attended school in Ojinaga, Chihuahua and married Socorro Imelda Rodriguez in Ojinaga, Chih on April 28th, 1973. To this union they had three children. Beto worked as a Pulling Unit Operator for over 35 years. He loved music, visiting family and friends, reading and always had a smile and a very unique loving laugh. He loved his family, and his texts and calls will be dearly missed.
He is preceded by his parents, Roberto and Inez Armendariz, siblings Amelia Franco Armendariz, Jaime Armendariz, Manuela Baeza, Antonio Armendariz and Cosme Armendariz.
Beto leaves his loving memories to cherish to his wife Socorro Imelda Armendariz, his children Linda (Noel) Granados, Roberto R. Armendariz Jr and Clay Armendariz, his grandchildren, Alan Roberto Armendariz, Crystal Alexia Armendariz, Levi Nicholas Granados, Liam Noel Granados and Luna Novalie Granados, his sisters Irma (Francisco) Muniz, Ernestina (Antonio) Hernandez and Orilde (Ervey) Sanchez Armendariz, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Roberto R. Armendariz, Alan Roberto Armendariz, Pedro Muniz, Noel Granados and Clay Armendariz.
The family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time but also, to the wonderful staff, nurses and Dr.'s at Madison Medical Resort, Medical Center Hospital, the Hospice Team, Crossroads Church and St. Cecilia Church.
