Paula V. Sanchez, 85, of Fort Stockton, went in peace to be with her Savior on Saturday, September 9th, 2023, while surrounded by her loving children at her home in Fort Stockton.

Paula was born in Coahuila, Mexico to Francisco Vargas and Marcelina Rodriguez on June 29, 1938. She married Jose C. Sanchez on November 3, 1957, in Coahuila, Mexico. Paula, a devoted homemaker to her husband and children, loved knitting and always had a warm meal prepared for her family. She was an active member of Templo Agua Viva Iglesia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jose C. Sanchez, and Son Juan J. Sanchez.

Paula is survived by her 9 beautiful children: Maria Reyes (Luis) Espinoza, Jose (Maria) Sanchez, Efrain (Elena) Sanchez, Lurdes (Edi) Sanchez, Francisco (Nora) Sanchez, Ervey (Maribell) Sanchez, Adrian (Cynthia) Sanchez, daughter in law Maria Sanchez and her daughters Abby and Iris Sanchez, 25 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are as follows: Luis Espinoza, Antonio Sanchez, Jesus Espinoza, Justin Sanchez, George Espinoza, and Arturo Espinoza.

The family of Paula would like to extend their most sincere appreciation to Dr. Mallik and the Pecos County Memorial Hospital-Hospice Team.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, September 11, 2023, from 4:00 pm -8:00 p.m. at Eternity Funeral Home, located at 600 E. Dickinson Blvd., Fort Stockton, TX 79735.

Celebration of Life for Ms. Paula will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel B, located at 600 E. Dickinson Blvd., Fort Stockton, TX 79735, with Pastor Vicente Cabello, officiating. Burial to follow immediately at East Hill Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
