Mrs. Maria "Mary" De Los Angeles Villalba, lovingly known as "Nana," passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, in Odessa, Texas, at the age of 83. Her passing marks the end of a life filled with devotion to family, faith, and community.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, with Rosary recited at 7:00 PM, at Eternity Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish – St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with Father Joseph Uecker officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Born on October 1, 1942, in Fort Stockton, Texas, Mary was the daughter of Benito and Sofia Sosa. She grew up surrounded by a large and loving family and carried those values into every chapter of her life. Her deep Catholic faith was a guiding light throughout her journey, especially her devotion to the Virgen de Guadalupe.

Mary shared a long and devoted marriage with her husband, Andres Villalba. Together they built a home filled with warmth and love. She was a proud mother to Sylvia; Andy (Margie); Lorie (Blaine Ward); Cynthia (Gabriel Rodriguez); and Andrea (Ryan Smith). Though she experienced the heartbreaking loss of her son Andy Villalba during her lifetime, his memory remained close to her heart.

Known affectionately as "Nana," Mary's nurturing spirit extended far beyond her immediate family. She was Nana not only to her grandchildren—Tanner and Jordan Ward; Ella and Liam Smith; Chelse Villalba; Andre Colomo; Jaileine and Khloe Rodriguez, Brett & Wesley Young—but also to numerous children she cared for over the years. Her great-grandchildren—Erika Salgado; Londyn; Ely; and Javi Patino—were blessed to know her love across generations.

Mary's siblings held a special place in her life. She is remembered by Mike Ureta, Aileen Ortega, Belinda O'Shea, and Steven Gonzales. She now reunites in peace with her siblings Juanita Dominguez, Amado Sosa, Rudolfo Sosa, Pete Sosa, Joe Sosa, and Gloria Ureta.

One of Mary's most cherished traditions was making Christmas stockings—each one crafted with care and joy. These stockings became treasured keepsakes in many homes and were a symbol of the love she poured into everything she did. Her creativity brought smiles year after year during the holiday season.

Mary's kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her. With a genuine heart and open arms, she became a second mother to many of her children's friends—a testament to the warmth that radiated from her presence.

Pallbearers will be Andre Colomo, Tanner Ward, Darrell Losoya, Trey Sarabia, Nathan Valenzuela, and Alex Dominguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Liam Smith, Javi Patino and Frank Villalba.

Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched with compassion and grace.
