He married the love of his life Juanita Rodriguez Pacheco on May 25, 1967. Marcial was a dedicated, hardworking man who worked in roustabout for many years. He was a self-taught carpenter and architect, electrician, and plumber. He blessed many of our family members with construction of their homes and was always available and willing to lend a helping hand especially when it came to his children and family. He was a food connoisseur, and known for his asado, bbq, and love of a good pot of beans. One of his many great qualities was his sense of humor. He was always ready to share a joke, a story from his childhood, ready to cut a rug at any time, he was a composer of his own music, especially when it came to the love of his life Juanita. He had a special relationship with each child and grandchild and throughout the years acquired many nicknames. You all knew him as Marcial but to his family he was known as Dad, Daddy, Papi, Marcel, Mr. Pacheco, Wellito, Weyo, Chicken Nugget, Marshall, Superman, Pachecito and Agapito. Marcial was a social butterfly and cherished the friendships he had. He had many special relationships in his life, one in particular was with his best friend and son in law Felipe, who he considered his son.
