Obituary

Manuela Armendariz, 90, of Fort Stockton, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, surrounded by all her family in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 24, 2022, with a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Francis officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Manuela Armendariz was born in San Juan, Chihuahua, Mexico to parents Faustino and Rumalda Nuñez on June 4th, 1931. She married Sabino Armendariz on March 30, 1957
She held many occupations such as ranching, farm labor, and housekeeper at a local motel for many years before she retired. Most importantly she was a mother and wife. She had many passions, but her favorite was gardening by far. Her house was always festooned with an impressive flower and plant collection which she took great pride in.

Manuela is preceded in death by her husband Sabino Armendariz and parents Faustino and Rumalda Nuñez. She is also preceded in death by brothers Esteban Nuñez, Marcos Nuñez, and Cruz Nuñez and sisters Praxedis (Chita) Zubiate, Salomé Nuñez, Juanita Velasco, and Carlotta Tavarez.

Manuela is survived by sister Zenaida Padilla, children Melva Armendariz, Delma Pardo (husband George Pardo), Sabino Armendariz Jr., Zenaida Armendariz, Enrique Armendariz (wife Leann Armendariz), Arnulfo Armendariz, and Adela Armendariz.
Grandchildren- Sarah Pacheco, Nathalie Bernal, Kimberly Bernal, Moises Bernal, Victoria Armendariz, Austin Moore, Stephanie Armendariz, Arnulfo Armendariz Jr. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers- Arnulfo Armendariz, Enrique Armendariz, Austin Moore, Moises Bernal, Martin Pacheco, and George Pardo.
