Manuel Rodriguez, 68, of Presidio, passed away on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, in Odessa.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, January 11th, 2025, at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church in Presidio with Rosary recited at 12:30pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 11th, 2025, at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church with Father Mike Alcuino officiating. Burial will follow at Desert Hills Cemetery.

Manuel was born on April 24, 1956, in Ojinaga, Chih to Benita Hinojos and Francisco Rodriguez. He attended school in Ojinaga and was actively involved in playing baseball and basketball throughout his adulthood. He married Alma Rosa Maynes in Ojinaga, Chih.

Manuel was a hard worker and dedicated family man. He loved to cook out and spend time together.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Benita Rodriguez, his son Jesús Manuel Rodriguez Máynez, siblings, Carlota Baeza, Facundo Rodriguez, Mario Rodriguez, Carolina Leyva and Irma Domínguez.

Manuel leaves his loving memory to cherish to his wife, Alma Maynez Rodriguez and daughters Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez and Alma Ivonne Rodriguez, brother Francisco Rodriguez Jr., sisters Rosa Rios and Leticia Tharp, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
