Obituary

Manuel Gerardo Morales, age 51, passed away peacefully surrounded by his son and family on Saturday, November 5, 2022.

Manuel was born on December 5, 1970, in Fort Stockton, TX to Juan M. Morales and Elidia Aguilera. He graduated from Fort Stockton High. Manuel was very humorous and liked to tell his stories, he showed his love through his humor. He had a love for children which is shown with his son, nephews, and nieces. He also loved to cook and had the best BBQ. Manuel had a calm and peaceful demeanor, but showed strength of character, especially in times of tribulations. The least of his talents, Manuel was a writer of poems speaking and reflecting on his own personal experiences.

Manuel is preceded in death by his Father Juan Mesa Morales.

He is survived by his son John Michael Morales, his mother Elida Aguilera Morales; sisters, Maria Elsa Larez and companion Guadalupe Lujan, Martha Franks, and Rachael Morales; Brothers John Morales and wife Nancy, Javier Morales, and Jaime Morales; and thirty-one nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Rene Sosa, Gabriel Acosta, Sam Aguilera, Sergio Larez, Andrew Franks, and Raymond Aguilera. Honory Pallbearers: Arny Gomez, and Robert James Morales.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish- St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow immediately thereafter at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is open to the public on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel B. Arrangements have been entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
