Lucy Gonzales

March 1, 1939 – May 13, 2026

Lucy Gonzales, age 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her sons on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

Lucy was born on March 1, 1939, to Carlos and Basilia Gonzales. She was one of eleven siblings and came from a large family rooted in love, strength, and tradition. Throughout her life, she carried those values with her and shared them with the family she built.

Lucy was the proud mother of four sons: James Gonzales and wife Debra, Michael Gonzales and wife Sofie, Jim Gonzales and wife Jennifer, and Joseph Gonzales. She was also blessed with six grandchildren Alyssa, Caleb, Diego, Nayeli, Alana, Jamie and six great-grandchildren, each of whom brought joy and meaning to her life.

Lucy will be remembered for the love she gave, the life she lived, and the family legacy she leaves behind. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pallbearers will be Jim, Caleb, Joseph, James, Jamie, Michael and Diego Gonzales

A Rosary will be held at 7pm and Visitation will be held from 1pm to 8pm on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Eternity Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, TX 79735.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Monday, May 18th, 2026, at St. Joseph's, Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eternity Funeral Home.

Our family takes comfort in knowing that Lucy's love, lessons, and memory will continue to live on through the generations she helped create.
