Larry Eugene Elvick, 77, of Fort Stockton, took his eternal flight on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in Odessa, Texas.
Viewing and visitation will be held at 11am to 8pm on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Eternity Funeral Home.
A Life Celebration will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel with John McIntyre officiating. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under Eternity Funeral Home.
Larry was born in Salina, Kansas to Eugene Conrad Elvick and Frances Ann Everette on April 11, 1944. He went to school at Burk Burnett. He united with Frances Rodriguez in 2007 in Fort Stockton. He worked as a roughneck in the oil rigs and after 50 years of service, he retired as a drilling consultant for Chevron.
Larry is preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother Dwight Elvick.
Larry is survived by his wife Frances Rodriguez, sons Dwayne Elvick, David Elvick and John McIntyre, grandchildren Payden Elvick and Jetty McIntyre, siblings Karen E. Smith and Kenny Elvick. Other survivors include 3 stepdaughters: Delia Carreon, Edna Vargas, and Crystal Luna, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Lopez, Aaron Leek, Tracey McNeil, Manuel Pacheco, Dee Meadors and Johnny Barbee.
