Obituary

Kristina Sade Flores, 37, of Midland TX, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, in Fort Stockton.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 20th from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel B and Wednesday, June 21st from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 22nd, 2023, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish – St. Joseph's with Father Francis Njoku officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Kristina was born in Odessa Texas to Irene and Jesus Hernandez on August 12, 1985. She attended FSHS in Fort Stockton. After high school she got her CNA but decided to pursue a career in child psychology. Kristina only had one year left before she would receive her bachelor's degree. She's been in child education for 12 years, and for the past 8 years she has been with MISD. She married the love of her life Brandon Griffen on May 17th, 2022, in Midland Texas. She was a devoted wife and to say she was a good mom is an understatement. She was an exceptional mother. She loved all her nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them. She was always about family and getting everyone together. She had a contagious laugh and loved to sing. She never met a stranger and always made you feel like family. Don't forget she loved her CHISME!

Kristina is proceeded in death by Cruz Flores (grandmother), of Malaga, NM, Silvano Fuentez (uncle) of Fort Stockton, Manuela Villa (grandmother) of Ojinaga MX. Alberto V. Hernandez (grandfather) of Ojinaga MX. Jose Rodrigo Lane (cousin) of Fort Stockton TX.

Kristina is survived by her husband Brandon Griffen, her two sons Zion and Kingston Griffen all of Midland TX. Her sister Mireya Hernandez, brother Aaron Hernandez and wife Amanda Hernandez of Fort Stockton TX. Her sister-in-law Kia Fuller and husband Kendrick Fuller, sister-in-law Rieka Dixon all of Midland TX. Parents Irene and Jesus Hernandez of Fort Stockton TX. Mother-in-law Gail Griffen and Aunt Janet Watkins of Midland TX. Nieces and nephews starting from oldest Joe Angel Carrasco, Amaya Herrera, Ayden Hernandez, Keyaaron Fuller, Zoie Ramirez, Kristopher Hernandez, Renezmee Ramirez, Kassidy Fuller, Jurnee Ramirez, Vada and Zailee Hernandez, and Daivik Hernandez along with many cousins, aunts, and uncles that she adored.

The pallbearers will be Joe Angel Carrasco, Monseis Fuentez, Sergio Fierro, Kendrick Fuller, Tommy Odum Jr. Brylan Watkins, Julio Reyes, Atreyu Fuentez, Miles James and Kendall Newman.
