Kenneth Eugene "KT" Tietz, 93, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 24, 2025.
A Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, with Pastor Gary Dunn officiating, at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton, Texas. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born on August 13, 1932, to Elsworth Tietz and Josie Alzada Gallion in Centralia, Kansas. He worked for many years as a plant operator in the gas industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
A proud Texan, Kenneth loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, camping, and fishing. He was a little man with a big heart, always ready with a smile or a helping hand. His warmth and good humor touched everyone who knew him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois Jean Tietz; his son, Michael Tietz; his parents, Elsworth and Josie Alzada Gallion Tietz; and his siblings, Elsworth Amos Tietz II, Earl Wayne Tietz, Norma Braden, Robert Tietz, and Peggy Reece.
He is survived by his sister, Velma Lawson; his daughters, Teresa (Bill) Everett and Leslie (Donnie) Smith; five nephews; nine nieces; seven grandsons; eight great-grandsons; and six great-granddaughters.
Kenneth will be remembered for his big heart, his love for family, and the joy he brought to those around him. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched.
