Juana Mendoza Covos, 91, of Presidio, TX, reunited with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 20, 2021, in Presidio, TX.

Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church in Presidio, TX with Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father Mike Alcuino, officiating. Burial of cremated remains to follow at Desert Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Eternity Funeral Home.

Juana was born in Presidio, Texas to Federico Mendoza and Bernarda Chavez on March 7, 1930. She married the love of her life Lucio Covos on May 16, 1951, in Presidio. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Juana was always faithful to her church and Lady of Guadalupe.

Juana is preceded in death by her parents, Federico Mendoza and Bernarda Chavez, her husband Lucio Covos and son in law, Juan Magallanez, sisters Herminia McCall, Eva Covos and brother Jose Mendoza.

Juana is survived by children: Maria Teresa (Jose) Leyva, Hilda (Juan+) Magallanez, Alfredo (Socorro) Covos, Daniel (Karime) Covos, Gloria (Alberto) Hernandez, and Marisela (Mario) Holguin, brothers Federico Mendoza Jr, Samuel Mendoza, Victor Mendoza, Carlos Mendoza, sister Lidia Cervantes, 15 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
