Jose Ramon Muniz, 80, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 16th, 2025, in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Visitation will be from 12 pm to 8 pm Wednesday, February 19th, 2025, at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel B.

Funeral Services will be held 10 am Thursday, February 20th, 2025, at Templo Agua Viva with Pastor Vicente Cabello officiating. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery, in Fort Stockton, Texas. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Jose was born in Mexico to Jose Muniz and Maria Melchor on June 8th, 1944. He married Ramona Muniz on August 3, 1963, in Eutimias, Coahuilla. He worked as a laborer for many years at LT Construction. Jose was a cowboy by heart, who loved his goats and horses with a joyful spirit, loving everyone and always singing.

Jose Ramon Muniz is preceded in death by his father Jose Muniz and mother Maria Melchor, Siblings Geronimo, Ines, Ignacia, and Trine, and grandchildren Rodrigo Castillo, Ofrael Muniz and Jose Ramon Muniz III.

He leaves his loving memory to be cherished to his wife Ramona Muniz, children, Elida (Robert Sanchez), Alfredo (Maribel Muniz), Victor Muniz, Lidia (Jose Luis), Martha (Miguel Tapia), Anselmo (Irma Muniz), Luis (Mary Muniz), Jose Ramon Muniz Jr., siblings, Ventura (Juana), Antonia, Juan (Angelica), Jose "pepe" (Mercedes), Angel (Imelda), Refujio (Romelia), 33 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, 3 great- great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Roberto Sanchez Jr., Alfredo Muniz Jr., Eric Muniz, Estevan Tamez, Rodolfo Pena Jr., Anselmo Muniz Jr., Luis Muniz Jr. and Jose Muniz.
