Jaime David Morales, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, July 1st, after a long and courageous journey. Though he passed quietly, he was deeply loved and will be remembered with warmth and honor by all who knew him.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Eternity Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish–St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow immediately at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Reception will follow the burial at St. Joseph Reception Hall. All are welcome to join the family in remembrance and fellowship. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Jaime was born on May 9th, 1958, in Fort Stockton, Texas to Juan M. Morales and Elida A. Morales. He graduated from Fort Stockton High. Jamie proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1976 to 1981. As the oldest brother in a family of seven siblings, his departure for service was deeply emotional for his younger siblings.

Known for his sharp appearance and calm nature, Jaime was also a gifted artist and musician. He played the bongos and guitar, and the church would occasionally ask him to paint pieces, recognizing his natural talent.

After his service, Jaime faced a long battle with schizophrenia. Though the journey was difficult, he remained deeply loved. Some knew him before his diagnosis, and others after, but they all remember the warmth he carried. He was embraced by many in the community, especially at Fidel's, where the owner, Chango, always welcomed him with kindness and compassion.

Jaime will be remembered for his service, creativity, quiet strength, and the love he gave and received throughout his life.

Jaime is preceded in death by his father Juan M. Morales and brother Manuel G. Morales.

He is survived by his mother Elida A. Morales; sisters, Maria Elsa Larez, Guadalupe Lujan, Martha Franks, and Rachael Morales; Brothers Javier Morales, John Morales and wife Nancy and thirty-five nieces and nephews.
