Humberto Valdez Hernandez, 67, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Eternity Funeral Home, Chapel B, with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish – Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, with Father Francis officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Humberto was born on September 28, 1957, in Manuel Benavidez, to Manuel and Guillerma Hernandez. He married the love of his life, Maria Baiza, in McCamey, Texas. A dedicated and hardworking man, Humberto spent over 21 years employed as a roustabout with Diversified Services.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Baiza Hernandez; his parents, Manuel Hernandez and Guillerma Valdez; his brother, Jose Hernandez; and his sisters, Marcia Galindo and Elfida Granado.

Humberto is survived by his brother, Baldo Hernandez (Maricela), and his sisters: Guadalupe Leyva, Luz Desmira (Concepcion Granado), Berta (Matias Hernandez), Manuela (Fernando Galindo), and Ovilia (Jesus Hernandez). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will carry his memory forward.

Pallbearers will be, Huber Galindo, Gustavo Hernandez, Concepcion Granado Jr., Edgar Galindo, Lazaro Hernandez, and Ceasar Hernandez.
