Guillermo (Memo) Santestevan Hoyer

A long life well lived !

Guillermo (Memo) Santestevan Hoyer, 87, passed away peacefully from a brief illness on December 14, 2022, surrounded by close family. He was born to Augustin Hoyer and Petra Santistevan on December 17, 1935.

Guillermo is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Rosa Molinar Hoyer. Together they raised four children Linda Barrera (Jose Luis) Gracie Falcon (Freddy), Denise Armendariz (Ruben), Guillermo Hoyer Jr. (Silvia). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

The Rosary will be 7pm, Friday December 16, 2022 at the Santa Teresa De Jesus Church. Visitation hours will be from 7pm to 9pm.

Funeral services will be held 10 am Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church with Father Mike officiating. Burial will follow at Desert Hills Cemetery. Arrangements are by Eternity Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Guillermo Hoyer III, Cesar Barrera, Johnny Barrera, Dennis Hoyer, Cesar Barrera Jr., and Fabian Sanchez.

He was a strong patriarch of his family. A good father who always took care of his children and did the best he could to teach and guide them, a loving grandfather and "great-grandfather. He will be remembered and missed by many.
