Guillermina Arellano Banda, 72, of Fort Stockton, passed away Friday, May 3,2024, in Odessa, TX.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 8,2024 from 1pm to 8pm with rosary at 7pm at Eternity Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, May 9,2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish St. Joseph's with Father Francis Njoku officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
Guillermina Arellano Banda was born in Felipe Pescador, Zacatecas, Mexico to Maria Guadalupe Ovalle and Miguel Arellano. She married Luis Castelo Banda in 1976 and remained married until his passing in 1989. Her hobbies at a younger age were sewing and cooking. She was a cook in various restaurants most of her life. The remainder of her later life she enjoyed all sports activities and school functions with her grandchildren. She was their biggest supporter and was always there to see them succeed.
Guillermina Arellano Banda is preceded in death by her late husband Luis Castelo Banda, her grandson Luis Hector Ramirez, her brother Juan Arellano, her father Miguel Arellano, her stepdaughter Isabel Spence and Stepson Joaquin Banda Sr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Lupita Banda, her 6 grandchildren, Kalvin Jarake Hernandez, Jerome Dammon Hernandez, Aubrianna Danae Whitecotton, Melena Isabelle Ramirez, Lisandra Raquelle Ramirez and Victoria Lisette Ramirez, longtime friend and partner Manuel Ortega, Stepdaughters Priscilla Bueno (Ismael Bueno), and Carolina Ronquillo, Mother Maria Guadalupe Quintana, siblings, Elvia Milan, Sandra Rodriguez (Ramiro), Jose Manuel Quintana, Jose Luis Quintana, Claudia Quintana ( RIchard), Monica Martinez, Delia Wright (Mark), Rosario Ervin (Bryan) and Mariana Quintana (Aubrey) and numerous nieces and nephews.
The pallbearers will be Kalvin Hernandez, Jerome Hernandez, Eliazar Lopez, Ejay Ortiz, Manuel Ortega and Luis Muniz.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
