Obituary

Guadalupe Martinez De Salazar, Age 80 of Fort Stockton TX, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in Fort Stockton, TX

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30th, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. With rosary at 7:00 PM at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel B.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 31st, 2025, at Oue Lady of Guadalupe Parish - St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Francis Njoku officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Guadalupe Salazar was born in El Ejido Purisima, Coahuila Mexico to Simon and Raymunda Martinez. On December 14, 1944. She married Rafael Salazar on May 6th in Ciudad Acuna Coahuila. She went to school in Coahuila Mexico. She was a homemaker; she loved to make quilts, enjoyed watching old western movies and enjoyed her coffee but with no milk (how she would say).

She is preceded in death by her parents Simon & Raymunda Martinez her husband Rafael Salazar, and granddaughter Gabriela Hernandez.

She is survived by Son Rafael Salazar Jr, daughter Rosario Ybarra (husband Junior) Son Martin Salazar (wife Ydolina) Son Mario Salazar, Son Rogelio Salazar (wife Rosa).

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ambar Vallado (Israel) Abigail Varella (Matthew) Rogelio Hernandez (Kindall)Ysenia Shafer (Joe)Johnny Ybarra (Candas) Sabrina Salazar (Danny) Stephanie Salazar, Yesenia Salgado (Beto) Mario Salazar Jr. Samantha Salazar, Rogelio Salazar, Sonia Salazar, Felix Salazar along with many great grandkids, Brothers: Genaro Martinez, Enrique Martinez & Sister Velia Martinez.

Pallbearers will be Martin Salazar, Mario Salazar, Rogelio Salazar, Oved Galindo, Rogelio Hernandez Jr. Johnny Ybarra, Dominic Hernandez (Honorary Pallbearer).

The family of Guadalupe Salazar wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Pecos Co. Memorial hospital & Hospice, St. Joseph's Church and all the people that helped make a loving impact in our mothers' life.
