Francisco "Frankie" Terrazas Espino entered eternal rest on April 24, 2021, at the age of 68, just two weeks shy of his 69th birthday. Born on May 6, 1952, to Lucia T. Espino and Jesus A. Espino, he was the eldest of five children.

Frankie spent his formative years in Fort Stockton, where he graduated from high school before attending Sul Ross State University. He earned a degree and a teaching certificate, which led him to a career with Lubbock ISD. Eventually, he returned to Fort Stockton and worked for First Savings and Loan until it was sold. During his time in Fort Stockton, he served as President of the Chamber of Commerce in 1983.

His career then took him back to Lubbock, where he worked for the City of Lubbock at the cemetery. Frankie later relocated to El Paso and Burleson while employed by the TCEQ. His final move was to Austin, where he continued his work for the State of Texas until his retirement. Frankie enjoyed spending his spare time and retirement outdoors and indulging in activities such as camping and hiking.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents, Lucia and Jesus Espino, and his brother, Juan "Johnny" T. Espino. He was joined in eternal rest by his son, Jonathan Frank Espino, on February 9, 2024.

He leaves behind his loving wife of nine years, Linda Brookins Espino, and his second son, Kristopher Paul Espino. Frankie is also survived by his four stepdaughters: Valerie Pugh and her husband Randy; triplets Lauren Spiers and her husband Caleb, Melissa Slack and her husband John, and Katie Quinlan. He was affectionately known as "Pawpaw" to Hannah and Ayden.

Frankie is also survived by his brothers, Jesus "Jessie" T. Espino and Raul T. Espino and his wife Judy, as well as his sister Esther Espino Acosta and sister-in-law Charla Espino. Additionally, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 29th, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish - St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Francis officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
