Obituary

Frank Nieto Gonzales, of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, in Fort Stockton, Texas. He was born on October 30, 1939, to Bonifacio L. Gonzales and Aurelia Nieto Gonzales in Fort Stockton, Texas. He was well known in the oil field where he spent the majority of his life. He was a self-made oilfield specialist that taught his four sons the trade that followed in his footsteps.

Frank enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping and had a natural love for everything outdoors. His legacy of hard work and the love for his grandchildren and sons and Catholic Faith will continue to live with his family and those who knew him.

Frank is proceeded in death by his parents, Bonifacio and Aurelia Gonzales, siblings Robert N. Gonzales, Bonifacio N. Gonzales Jr., Ynacia G. Rodriguez, and Emma Gallegos.

Frank is survived by his four sons James (Debra) Gonzales, Michael (Sofie) Gonzales, Jim (Jennifer) Gonzales, and Joseph Gonzales. Six grandchildren Jamie (Michelle) Gonzales, Alana Howell (Bryan), Diego Gonzales, Nayeli Gonzales, Alyssa Gonzales, Caleb Gonzales, and six great grandchildren, and his sibling (Nick) Gonzales of Eagle Pass, Tx.

Visitation will be held at Eternity Funeral Home, 600 E. Dickinson Blvd, Ft. Stockton, TX. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Rosary recited at 7:00 PM.

Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady Guadalupe Parish – Saint Joseph's Catholic Church on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with Father Francis Officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Gonzales, Diego Gonzales, James Gonzales, Jamie Gonzales, Jim Gonzales, Caleb Gonzales, Joseph Gonzales, and Isaac Flores

Honorary Pallbearers: Nicanor (Nick) Gonzales, and Sony Vasquez.

We would like to sincerely thank Beth Lambert and Krysha Bearden for their care and support of our dad and family. Also thank you to Isaac Flores who was always there helping us take care of dad when we needed that extra help. Dad sure did enjoy those simple talks and strolls of the

'Barrio" like he used to say.
