Francisco Lopez Gonzalez, 86 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 29, 2026, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua.
Francisco was born in Ejido Piedritas, Coahuila to Francisco and Elpidia Lopez on October 28, 1939. He went to school at Benito Juarez and later united in matrimony with Angelica Villarreal on February 9th, 1970, in Piedritas, Coahuila. He worked as a resale merchant for over 20 years and as a hobby, he was an exceptional cook, his fritada, pan de levadura and cinnamon rolls were the best. Everyone enjoyed his Thanksgiving dinner.
He is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Elpidia Lopez, brothers Jesus Lopez, Enrique Lopez, Rogelio Lopez, sisters Margarita Muniz, Juliana Miramontez, Juanita Garcia and Barbara Guzman.
Francisco, known as "Lopez," leaves his love and memories to his loving wife, Angelica Lopez, son Saul (Sandra) Lopez, daughters Delma Lopez, Dina (Sergio) Buenrostro, Sendy (Juan) Camacho, Jessica (Sergio) Gabaldon, sisters Rebecca Bernal, Rosa Meraz, brothers Jose Lopez and Manuel Lopez, 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Gael Saldana, Saul Lopez, Gustavo Caballero, Lionel Caballero, Erik Lopez and Norman Hernandez.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, February 1, 2026, 1pm – 8pm with Holy Rosary recited at 7pm at Eternity Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 2nd, 2026, at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe – St. Josephs Catholic Church with Fr. Francis officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
