Emma Cleotilde Diabb, 80 years of Fort Stockton, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, in Fort Stockton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 1pm to 8pm with Rosary recited at 7pm at Eternity Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe – St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Ft. Francis officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Emma was born on June 4, 1943, in Juarez, Chihuahua to Roberto Martinez and Margarita Torrez. She married Antonio Diabb in Juarez, Chihuahua, in a marriage that lasted over 50 years before Mr. Antonio passed away. Emma was a dedicated homemaker who cooked the best red enchiladas and menudo. She loved her grandchildren and was a devout catholic believer.

She is preceded in death by her parents Roberto Martinez and Margarita Torrez, her husband Antonio Diabb, and three brothers Felipe de Jesus Martinez Torrez, Roberto Martinez Torrez and Pedro Martinez Torrez.

Emma leaves her memory to be cherished by her four children Antonio (Maria) Diabb, Myra Diabb, Adriana (Cesar) Ramirez and Lupe (Jose Valdez) Diabb, thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, three sisters Silvia Martinez Torrez, Maria Luisa Salinas, Amelia Toralba, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Albert Garcia, Gilbert Mata Jr., Sergio Ramirez, Josh Valdez, Jose Valdez, Alex Mendoza and Freddie Mendoza.
