Eliazar "Chachal" V. Salazar, age 65, of Alice, Texas, passed on to eternal life on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in Aurora, Colorado.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 3pm to 9pm at Iglesia de Cristo in Presidio, Texas with a service held at 7pm with Pablo Rodriguez officiating.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 10am at Iglesia de Cristo in Presidio, Texas with burial to follow at Desert Hills Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Eliazar was born on January 7, 1959, in Los Ojitos de Municipio Ojinaga, Chihuahua. He worked for Farmer C.O.O.P. in Levelland, Texas for 42 years and retired. He then worked for Relax Relocation for almost 2 years until his departure.

Eliazar was loved by many relatives and friends. He never missed the Dallas Cowboys game. He was full of life; his laughter could break a silent room.

He is preceded by his parents, Enrique and Josefina Salazar.

Eliazar leaves his memory to his loving wife, Hilda Salazar, children Lorena Salazar, Belinda (Amando) Vallejo and Richard Salazar, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, his siblings Yoland Burrola, Noemi Torres, Rosa (Andres) Ortiz, Marivel (Jose Manuel) Corrales, Antonio Salazar, Maricela Baeza, Enrique (D'ana) Salazar, Adan Salazar and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Richard Salazar, Enrique Salazar, Antonio Salazar, Adan Salazar, Catarino Salazar and Rogelio Diaz.
