Eduvigis C. Martinez, 89, of Redford, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023, in Odessa, Texas.

Rosary will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church in Presidio.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church with Father Mike Alcuino officiating. A burial will follow at Redford Cemetery in Redford, Texas. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home from Fort Stockton.

Eduvigis, lovingly known as "Vicky" was born in Casa Piedra, Texas on March 28, 1934, to Jose Catano and Zenona Ocon. Vicky was a dedicated homemaker who loved to cook and knit.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Zenona Catano, her husband Inez Martinez, daughters Margarita Martinez, Flora Martinez, brothers Epifanio Catano, Guadalupe Catano, Nicola Catano and sister Sabina Olivas.

Vicky is survived by her children Jesus Martinez, Francisca Cordero, Maria (Ysidro Jr.) Garcia, Josefina Martinez, Sylvia Williams, Luly (Jose) Martinez, Jose Inez (Brenda) Martinez, brothers Jesus and Daniel Catano, 19 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and numerous of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ysidro Garcia III, Orlando Garcia, Pedro Urquidi, Jose Inez Martinez, Veronica Urquidi and Guadalupe Garcia.
