Cruz Rodriguez Jr., 62, of Fort Stockton TX, passed away on December 14th, 2022. Visitation will be Monday December 19th, 2022, at Eternity Funeral Home of Fort Stockton from 6:00-8:00 pm and Tuesday December 20th, 2022, at Northside Church from 9:00-11:00 am.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday December 20th, 2022, with Pastor Scott Owens of Northside Church, officiating. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Eternity Funeral Home.
Cruz Rodriguez Jr. is preceded in death by, his father Cruz Rodriguez Sr., and Mother Odilia De La Rosa Rodriguez of Fort Stockton.
Cruz Rodriguez Jr. is survived by, his brother Tomas Rodriguez (Elva), sister Alicia De Anda (Enrique), both of Fort Stockton. Nephews, Duvan Rodriguez (Carissa) of Fort Stockton, and Benjamin Rodriguez (Eman) of Austin. Nieces, Abbigail Hernandez (Juan), of Fort Stockton and Annika De Anda of San Antonio. Furry Companion, Sophie of Fort Stockton.
Pallbearers will be Duvan Rodriguez, Benjamin Rodriguez, Juan Gonzalez, Chon Cantu, Santiago Cantu, and Chris Alexander.
Cruz, known as Junior by his loved ones, was born in Ozona, Texas, to Cruz Sr. And Odilia Rodriguez on January 12th, 1960. He graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1978. Throughout his years, he served in many various roles in retail companies in Fort Stockton. He demonstrated great leadership qualities made evident by the many friendships he fostered. His most recent place of employment was Domino's where he served as an assistant manager. Junior attended the first service of Northisde Church, where he remained a committed member throughout his life. Junior was an avid reader who also enjoyed a night out at the movies. Junior took pride in attending his nieces and nephews events and supporting them in all they participated in. He will always be remembered as a loving person with a contagious laugh.
