Aurora Duran, 87 of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on September 19,2021 in Fort Stockton. A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Aurora was born in Fort Stockton, Texas to Felix Porras and Cruz Franco on May 31, 1934. She married Sabino G. Duran in 1957. She was widowed at the age of 37. Spending time with her family is what she enjoyed the most. Aurora would open her doors to anyone in need of a place to stay or a good hot meal. Music and dancing was a big part of her life. Aurora leaves behind many family and friends who will miss her dearly. Aurora is preceded in death by her parents, husband (Sabino), brothers Abelino Salmon, Manuel Salmon, sisters, Luisa Porras, Elfida Franco, Oralia Dominguez. Aurora is survived by her son Eddie of Odessa, TX, Corky Schlueter of Phoenix, Arizona, Winna Garcia of Crane, TX and Ribia Ruiz (Orlando) of Fort Stockton, TX sister Eustolia Holguin. 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Her two best friends Petra Acosta & Otilia Nunez.
