Arturo Gutierrez Acosta, 77 years of Presidio, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, at his home in Presidio.

Arturo was born in Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua on November 25, 1946, to Arturo Acosta and Arminda Gutierrez. He went to school in Ojinaga and worked as an auto mechanic. He loved helping people and was a dedicated family man.

He is preceded in death by his parents Arturo and Arminda Acosta, his loving wife Antolina Brito Acosta, brothers Jose Luis Acosta, Jesus Francisco Acosta and Zacarias Gutierrez Hernandez.

He leaves his memory to be cherished to his children Arturo (Silvia) Acosta Jr., Hector Manuel (Marisela) Acosta, siblings Agapito Orozco, Zoila Granado, Rafael Orozco, grandchildren, one great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, with Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church in Presidio, with Father Mike Alcuino officiating. A burial will follow at Desert Hills. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
