Anna Patricia Martinez, 50, of Sanderson, Texas reunited with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
Visitation will be held at the Sanderson High School Auditorium on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. A Holy Rosary will be recited at the Saint James Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with a Funeral Mass to follow with Father Francis Njoku, officiating. Burial will follow immediately after at the Santa Rita Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
Anna Patricia Martinez was born in Alpine, Texas to Gil and Rosie Martinez on January 4, 1971. She went to school in Sanderson, Texas, and she graduated from Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was employed as a Deputy Treasure for Terrell County for 10 years. She was faithfully devoted to her women's bible study, she loved to travel and see the world, she was strongly committed to her UT Longhorns and her Dallas Cowboys. She looked forward to participating in every family function, she loved to listen to music, dance, and last, but certainly not least, her karaoke. Anna made sure she always carried her karaoke list close to her, because if there was an opportunity to sing, she was certainly not going to miss out on that opportunity! Anna was the life of any party. Her unique sense of humor, charisma, and self-confidence shined bright like a diamond. Anna never missed out on the opportunity for an adventure to see the world. Her motto in life was too live her life to the fullest and be kind to everyone. Anna was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Anna is proceeded in death by her father Gil F. Martinez, paternal grandparents Julian Martinez Sr. and Juanita Flores, maternal grandparents Onesimo and Juanita Montello.
Anna is survived by her daughter Cassandra (Jak) Kelly, granddaughter Clea Kelly, Mother Josefa Martinez, sister(s) Maricela (Frank) Luevano, Rosemary (Tomas) Romo, nephew(s) Ray Sanchez and Jacob Sanchez, niece(s) Clarissa Luevano and Carolina Sanchez, great niece(s) Alyssa Kylee, Melanie Addison Sanchez, and Aaleyah Mendez, great nephew(s) Jacob Prince Sanchez and one on the way, special friend Matthew Mesa.
Pallbearers: Ray Sanchez, Steven Luevano, Jacob Sanchez, Pedro Mendez, Raymon Martinez, David Martinez, RJ Martinez, and Jak Kelly.
