Anita Pina Garcia Franco, age 85 of Fort Stockton, TX passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, in Fort Stockton, TX.

Visitation will be from 11am to 8pm on Friday, October 6, 2023, with a Rosary recited at 7pm at Eternity Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish (St. Joseph's) with Father Francis officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Eternity Funeral Home.

Anita was born on July 26, 1938, in Fort Stockton, TX to Nicolas David Garcia and Paulina Pina Garcia. She went to school in Fort Stockton and graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1955. She worked for "Chick" and Clayton Williams for numerous years. She married Crespin Franco on June 20, 1968, in Fort Stockton, TX. Where she then became a housewife for many years. Anita was a spicy, blunt lady who said it like it was. Anita loved gardening, cooking, and baking. Anita's pride and joy was her garden, you could catch her outside any time of day in her garden. Anita cherished every moment with her family and friends, she made sure you knew just how special and loved you were.

Anita is preceded in death by her parents Nicolas David Garcia and Paulina Pina Garcia. Husband Crespin Franco, children Crespin Franco Jr. Gonzalo Franco and Dorothy Franco. Siblings Jose (Chito) Pina, Domingo Garcia, Frank Garcia, Camilo Garcia, Pascualita (Calita) Garcia, Moses Garcia

Anita is survived by sons Victor (Geneva) Garcia, Guy (Tammy) Franco. Siblings Elodia Garcia, Elpidio (Delia) Garcia and daughter Sylvia Strawhacker. Grand children Mellisa Garcia (Jimmy V), Clarissa Garcia Sisley (Mike), Victor Nicholas Garcia (Megan), Jessica Garcia (Louis R), Adam Flores, Emily Flores, Devon Guerra, Guy Franco Jr, Gabriel Ureste, Jessica Strawhacker, Brandi Strawhacker, Tabitha Strawhacker, Mark Strawhacker. Great grand children Nicholas Lopez, Nia Lopez, Justin Garcia, Evan Garcia, Zeandra Garcia, Illianna Porras, Eric Garcia, De'Andrick Garcia, Destiney Garcia, Adalynn Garcia, Autumn Garcia, Isaiah Garcia, Faith Rodriguez, Zarias Brian Olvera, Elaiyah Dorothy Olvera, Nevaeh Rose Olvera, Heaven Rayne Olvera, Xylon Marzell Flores, Luna Esttella Olvera, Crespin Strawhacker, Brooke Strawhacker, Izzi Strawhacker, Brandin Strawhacker, Quinn Strawhacker, Neo Strawhacker, Mila Strawhacker. Great- Great grandchild Analyia Garcia. Numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
