Beloved brother Cheto Ramos passed from his life on November 21st, 2025, in Midland, TX.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 6th, 2025, at Eternity Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
Cheto was born to Ysabel Ramos on April 16, 1954. He was raised in Ft. Stockton and attended school for all 12 years. Cheto was quite the sport jock of the family. He played baseball with the Blue Sox, but his true passion was boxing. He participated in the Golden Gloves for several years till finally reaching the top when he won state in his class in 1979. In 1983, He won the light middle weight in his professional career in Ft. Worth in which he made 3 successful defenses of his title.
Cheto is preceded in death by his mother Ysabel and 3 brothers Tony, Johnny, Nati and his sister Dominga.
He is survived by his brother Celestino Ramos and his wife Celia; two nieces Monica and husband Scot and Crystal Morgan. Also, by his Compadre Luis Garcia. Till we meet again, Rest easy my brother.
