Abel Castaneda San Miguel, 81, of Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, passed away on October 15, 2025, in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel B, located at 600 E. Dickinson Blvd., Fort Stockton, TX. A Rosary will be recited that evening at 7:00 PM.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 10 AM at Eternity Funeral Home.

Abel was born on October 13, 1944, in Juarez, Chihuahua, to Abel San Miguel and Librada Castaneda. He married Maria Blanca Guevarra on January 14, 1971, in Juarez, Chihuahua and they shared 46 years of marriage.

He worked as a mechanic for Belding Farms for over 40 years. Abel had many lifelong friends in Fort Stockton and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He was a father figure to many and will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, love of hunting and spending time with friends and family.

Abel is Preceded in death by his wife: Blanca San Miguel, and his daughter: Marina San Miguel.

Abel is survived by his daughters: Blanca Christina San Miguel-Moreno, Adriana San Miguel, Angelica San Miguel-Womack, Maricela Brown, His grandchildren: Micah Abel San Miguel, Maria Isabella San Miguel-Gonzales, Ethan Brown, Gabriela Mendoza, Ismael San Miguel-Gonzales, AnnaLisa Blanca Moreno, Isaiah Kalel Brown, Solomon Alejandro Moreno, Silas Mark San Miguel-Womack, And one great-grandchild: Samuel Julian Ojeda.
